My client, a leading bank, is currently looking for a Regulatory Reporting Manager on a large Regulatory programme, this role will be an initial 4 month contract paying a daily rate of £ depending on the candidates experience.This role will help to consolidate the Basel Securitisation QIS. The ability to support and understand Securitisations and complex transactions, in terms of regulatory requirements is key.
Key responsibilities will include the following:
* reconcile the QIS templates to the PRA returns
* Liaise with Front Office contacts to agree data
* Identification and clarification of improvements required to the reporting data, requiring a thorough understanding of Risk Weighted Asset (RWA) calculations and Basel II guidelines.
* In-depth analysis of the regulatory capital requirements to trading area level within FM.
* Develop internal stakeholder network to facilitate identification and correction of reporting process errors
* Work closely within the team in the production of the Pillar III reporting, requiring attention to detail and a good understanding of the Pillar III requirements.
* Very good knowledge of the FSA046 & FSA058 returns is a key requirement
The role would suit an individual with attention to detail who is able to use their skills and knowledge to influence and enhance the regulatory reporting process. Candidates with a sound knowledge of Basel capital requirements would be preferred, but those with knowledge of credit risk and/or balance sheet reporting will also be considered.
