Description
My client, a leading bank, is currently looking for a Lead and a MI Business Analyst who will report to the banks Tactical Remediation team. Based in their London offices on a contract basis paying a daily rate of £ depending on experience on an initial 3 month contractYou will meet the following requirements:
3/5 years MI business analysis skills with specific experience of Change, Retail, Finance banking
Documentation of business processes, and deep dive on high level process maps to assist the business to identify key areas of concern/ for remediation.
Identify and engage relevant stakeholders throughout remediation activity.
Understand overall programme timelines and work towards detailed plans.
Manage progress according to plan, actively managing risks and issues.
Provide input to weekly/ fortnightly status reports for select sub-projects.
Understand content of component to manage quality and support developers.
Document functional specifications/ user guides to support handover activity.
Delivery of enhancements to End User Computing; including assessing any potential SOX considerations on remediation activity.
Understanding of Core Retail Banking Products, and basic MI requirements across Retail Finance. An understanding of Commercial and Consumer Finance MI would also be advantageous.
Requirements gathering to support technical development, ensuring the needs of business users are appropriately represented.
Qualified Accountant/Prince 2 qualification desired
IT Skills:
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g.; Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) essential.
Working knowledge of Financial (SAP BW/ R3, Oracle, TM1, Business Objects) &Customer (e.g. rCBS, CAP) systems desirable.
