My client, is looking to bring on board a General Insurance Actuary to support a Solvency II QRT Production Project.
Role Summary -

- The role will focus on the sourcing and fulfilment of GI Actuarial Balances (Balance Sheet and Capital) data requirements to be incorporated and reported to the Regulator as part of the Pillar 3 QRT Disclosure process.

- The ideal candidate should be able to show previous SII experience within the General Insurance sector with experience of IGLOO and supporting data inputs.

- As part of the project team, the GI Actuary will work with other project Actuaries and Accountants as well as BAU SME Finance team members across the Insurance Group, Business Analysts and Project Managers to ensure the successful delivery of the project.

Key Requirements -

- SII/ICAS+ GI Actuarial experience - working with IGLOO and GI actuarial data structures.

- Awareness of the legislative SII text - especially the reporting / participation rules for Pillar 3 reporting.

- Excellent communication skills, who can engage with at different levels in the organisation.

- Proactivity - the desire to commit to the project and its objectives.

- Outstanding work ethic - is able to work to milestones and deadlines.
