My client, a wealth management company, is looking to bring on board an IT Project Manager. The ideal candidate requires experience of operating within a PMO where multiple are being managed.Role Summary:
- The Project Manager is responsible and accountable for the planning, management and delivery of project (s) requested by the business in accordance with the Change Management framework.
- The individual will be required to plan and deliver a project from inception to completion and be responsible for deliverables throughout the project against the agreed budget and timescales.
Experience:
- Solid proven experience in a project manager role at the same level, with a proven track record in delivering programmes or large projects. Ideally within the Finance Sector with experience of delivery to both the front and back office departments.
- The candidate must have a solid understanding of the following - PM Methods and Processes, Business Case management, Resource Management and Budget Management.
- The candidate must have awareness of Software Development Lifecycles.
Skills:
- Ability to manage all aspects of the project, including providing overall guidance and direction to the project and overseeing financial management activities.
- Exceptional Stakeholder Management.
Qualifications:
- Preferably a degree in Information Technology / Business Studies.
- A recognised formal Project Management qualification (e.g. Prince2 Practitioner, PMI PMP).
