They are actively seeking suitably qualified and experienced Directors, to support our highly successful offerings to the Gas industry. These new positions reflect our growth and desire to bring talented individuals to our company, to help us to deliver successful outcomes for our client base. We would also welcome applications from individuals with an Oil industry background.
The Operations Director will be the Company's principal representative to the client and responsible for contract execution and the commercial success of the projects within the Business Unit. This will include P&L responsibility. A significant proportion of this role will be developing core business strategies in order to facilitate new business development.

Your responsibilities will include:
    • Providing project management leadership from bid to award stages, through to the engineering and mobilisation
    • Providing the primary contact and commercial interface to the client during project start up's
    • Leading new business development across the business unit
    • Maximising and grow revenue from existing clients
    • Developing key relationships with senior client stakeholders
    • Understanding the contract and commercial requirements and ensure the identification of scope/project change requirements
    • Chair periodic project board management meetings with the key service delivery team to include engineering, procurement, project controls, construction and commissioning
    • Meeting regularly with the client to review service delivery and commercial status of the project
    • Reviewing project proposals/plans to determine timeframe, budget restrictions, procedures for accomplishing the project,
    • Evaluating resource requirements and the allocation of available resources
    • Being financially accountable for overseeing project budget and performance
    • Providing program content expertise, which may include delivery of in service training and direct programming.

  • Experience of working in Energy, Oil and Gas or Infrastructure projects

  • Proven experience in executing projects on time and within budget

  • Must be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximise employee performance
  • In depth understanding and appreciation of core business principles and best practise
  • Good understanding of financial management principles

  • Good understanding of relevant legislation
  • Good understanding of key principles of contract management
  • Strong strategy development skills
  • Proven experience in executing projects on time and within budget
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
