Real Staffing are recruiting for an interim Income & Reference Cost Accountant to support a challenging NHS Trust during a key period of the financial calendar.
This role will provide flexible cover to the Income Finance team whilst contributing to the delivery of the trust's annual Reference Cost submissions.
It is important that candidates have a strong understanding of the current NHS PbR guidance and tariffs as well as background within provider trusts.
KEY DUTIES
- Supporting the delivery of the trust's annual Reference Cost submissions
- Collecting data and populating Excel spreadsheets
- Handling PbR queries and advising on financial implications
- Monitoring SLA income and populating SLAM financial reports
- Supporting the implementation of an SLR Costing system
- Updating and populating financial templates
- Reporting to the Head of Income & Contracts
KEY SKILLS
- Part-Qualified Accountant
- Operate at Band 7 level
- Supported the delivery of NHS Reference Costs
- Strong Excel and system skills (preferably SLAM and Access)
- Comprehensive understanding of NHS PbR policies
