OVERVIEW
Real Staffing are working with an NHS Acute Trust in the South East which needs a hands-on Financial Accountant to the help-out the team during a busy period of the financial calendar.
The successful candidate will take responsibility for a number of processing duties across financial accounting, financial services and charitable funds.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monthly reconciliation of control accounts
- Monthly financial reporting
- Monthly accounting of the Trust's charitable funds
- Supporting the Head of Financial Accounts and finance team
- Producing monthly VAT returns
- Liaising with internal and external affiliates including SBS
- Responsible for the quarterly agreement of creditor balances
KEY SKILLS
- Part-Qualified accountant
- Operate at Band 5 level
- Managed NHS charitable funds
- Financial Accountant within an NHS Acute or Foundation Trust
- Strong Excel and system skills
