Front-End Developer - Javascript (Backbone, Knockout, Node) - £250 - £300 Per Day(Front-End/Javascript/BackboneJS/KnockoutJS/NodeJS/HTML5/CSS3)
My client has a fantastic contract opportunity for a Front-End developer with strong Javascript experience. You will be using Javascript libraries such as BackboneJS, KnockoutJS and NodeJS.
The client is based in the city centre of Manchester and are a digital agency, specialising mainly in branding for large clients.
The role is interesting, and will initially involve working on an extranet project for one of their clients; you will be doing all the interface and the transitions which will be quite Javascript heavy.
The second project is one of their internal systems - a brand management system which will enable their clients to change and update things quicker, such as marketing, templates, advertisements etc. You will be working on the service layer and will be using Javascript libraries such as Node, Backbone and Knockout. There will also be some integration with MongoDB.
Key Skills Required:
- Front-End development skills; HTML5, CSS3
- Strong Javascript - ideally using libraries such as Backbone, Knockout and Node.
- Must be a strong developer and hit the ground running
Contract Location: Manchester City Centre
Contract Length: Initially 3 months with a the possibility of extension
Contract Rate: £250 - £300 per day dependant on skill set
