Migration / System Engineer - Unix / Linux - SecurityOur Client in Zurich is seeking:
Migration Engineer with a strong Unix / Linux and Banking background
Main tasks/activities:
- The engineer will be part of a team migrating a Log Management System (Splunk)
- Build packages in Linux RPM Format
- Create and execute manual and/or automated tests
- Updated / adjust current code fragments in Bash, Python and Java
Education:
- Bsc / Msc in Computer Science or relevant working experience
- 3+ years in IT Systems & Software Engineering
- Experience working in a large enterprise
Systems/programming languages/databases:
- Unix, Linux /At least one Object Oriented Language (e.g. .NET, JAVA, C++, etc.)
- Log management know how is a big plus (Splunk preferred)
- Security / Controlling / Networking know how a big plus

- Very good English skills
- German is an advantage
