eDiscovery Support - Our client, a large international bank, is currently looking for a functional support. This role is an eDiscovery support function to acquire, search, organise and present key electronic records (mainly but not exclusively email) to support confidential / sensitive Legal and H.R. enquiries and investigiations.Description:
- The role includes developing and enhancing existing process documentation to ensure that delivery of material is efficient and consistent.
- The role will require effective coordination with other IT teams to acquire records that are not directly accessible.
Required Skills
- Familiarity with eDiscovery tools, in particular Symantec Discovery Accelerator; Nuix; Sherpa Discovery Attender.
- Familiar with standard eDiscovery methodology.
- Scripting ability to allow ad hoc requests to process unstructured data to be effectively handled (e.g. Perl, Python)
- Microsoft Office (including advanced Excel)
- Electronic Mail (RFC 822 & Exchange)
- An understanding of Microsoft and Unix based distributed computing environments is beneficial to understand what records of electronic communucations are available.
- Awareness of trading settlement systems to understand the type of recrods these systems hold.
- Awareness of trading / market data IM (e.g. Reuters, Bloomberg) functionality.
- Ability to engage effectively to internal Clients (notably General Counsel and H.R.) (i) to understand requirements for a particular request (ii) to turn Business requirements into technical requests / activities (iii) to summarise and present the resulting information back to the Business requestor.
- A high degree of discretion is required for this role.
- Excellent documentation skills to ensure that key processes are documented in an effective manner.
