Infrastructure Administrator - VMware - Windows Server - Linux -Solaris -SQL - StorageOur Client in Zurich is seeking a Infrastructure Administrator with very good knowledge of VMware
- Administration and managing virtualization infrastructure (VMWARE)
- Support and carrying out maintenance activities like patching, systems upgrades, risk remediation work
- Assisting with scripting (reporting and automation) of the virtualization environment
- Participation in 7x24x365 Virtual Infrastructure ON Call Service / Participation in shift work
- Documentation of operational documentation and technical procedures
Skills Requirement:
- Extensive experience (3 years +) in VMware ESXi 4.* and ESXi 5.*
- Know-how on Windows Server, Linux, Solaris, SQL and Storage (SAN/NAS)
- Experience building servers on ESX platform
- Good (excellent) scripting skills
- Architecture knowledge of virtual infrastructure
- Understanding of HP & DELL blades and chassis hardware, networking concept, backup and recovery of VMs, IT Security
- English is a must, German a big plus
