Description
SQL 2005/SQL 2008/SQL 2012/DBA/T-SQL/SSIS/SSRS/SSASI am urgently seeking an experienced SQL Server DBA to work for a well established and highly successful organisation in the North West. The ideal candidate will have skills in Production DBA duties with SQL Server and also have strong Development skills using T-SQL. The company are currently running a major Business Intelligence project as well, so any experience with the Microsoft BI Stack (i.e. Reporting Services, Analysis Services) would be a big plus.
Core Skills required:
- Strong experience with SQL 2005, 2008 or 2012
- DBA Tasks (Back-up, Recovery, Performance Tuning)
- Database development (T-SQL, stored procedures, triggers, views etc)
In addition, any experience of MS BIDS (i.e. SSRS, SSAS and SSIS) would be an advantage.
This is a great company to work for - there's a fantastic team environment, and are also using all the cutting edge technologies, and are planning to upgrade to SQL 2012 shortly.
The contract would initially run at £300 P/D for 6 months, with a possible temp-to-perm for the right candidate!
