Description

Our direct client has an immediate need for an IBM DB2 Database Administrator contract role in Austin, TX. The contract would be an initial 12 month role with extensions being highly likely.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 3-5 years of experience with IBM DB2 database.
  • Knowledge in all physical aspects of the database.
  • Experience with capacity planning and database tuning.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Architecting DB2 for custom applications.
  • Having High Availability and overseeing DB2 instance configuration.
  • Sizing (Capacity) and administration.
