ABOUT THE POSITION
GTN Technical Staffing is searching for a SQL Server DBA/BI Developer for a contract-hire opportunity in Irving, TX. The SQL Server DBA/BI Developer will be in a blended role focusing on BI/SQL Development with the MS BI Stack and SQL Server administration in a 2008 R2 and 2012 SQL Server environment. We are looking for someone who has heavy experience in a DBA administration/operations role as well as a development background. You should be able to walk us through how to do a task with T-SQL Command Lines, not just functions using a wizard. You need to be able to evaluate performance by looking at metrics details. Our client offers a great work environment with snack carts, the occasional catered breakfast, and even an on-site masseuse. We are looking for a SQL Server DBA/BI Developer with solid people skills that can interface directly with customers and stakeholders.
