A leading provider of advisory and capital market services in New York are looking for a junior Java developer to join their growing team on an initial 6 month contract. This fast paced company are looking for the junior developer to be experienced on the core side as opposed to the web side and demonstrate both great skill and passion for the technical. There is also the possibility for the right candidate to go permanent at the end of the initial contract. Skills Needed for the Core Java Developer

• Experience with development, building new tools and expanding platforms.
• Strong technical background in core Java development.
• No financial background necessary.
• Strong experience with Unix, Linux Python/Perl/Scripting
• Experience with SQL
