Description
An established Architectural firm is seeking to recruit a well-rounded Intermediate Architect to be based in their London office.
Duties of the role will include (but are not limited to):
- To be responsible for specific technical design aspects of an assigned project, including computational modelling, preparation of architectural drawings and updating and amending architectural drawings where necessary after revision with senior designers.
- Ensures that all designs are in accordance with quality standards and statutory regulations.
- Developing new or improved digital design techniques within the office.
- To liaise with other building professions such as Surveyors, Engineers and building contractors; under the guidance and leadership of the practice's senior designers, to ensure the smooth running of client projects.
The successful applicant will possess:
- A Bachelors Degree level qualification in Architecture. Alternatively we will accept applications from RIBA Part II or higher qualified applicants.
- At least 5-years of previous experience working within an architectural design role (which can be demonstrated at interview and via references if required). Previous experience in working on all design phases of a variety of projects including residential and educational buildings, and master plans, is essential.
- Advanced skills on Autocad, and script writing software such as Revit, Rhino, Visual Basics and Grasshopper.
- Intermediate to Advanced user of Adobe Creative Suite Software.
- Strong English language skills in both a written and spoken context.
- A confident, yet grounded and approachable disposition, as some client interaction is necessary. Must be able to work competently within a team, yet also be able to make individual professional judgements.
