I am currently working with a global technology company, within the Netherlands portion of their business; my client is looking for a Websphere Application Server Specialist for a 7 Month contract in the Amstelveen Area, Netherlands.
The ideal candidate will be IT specialists who primarily apply their technical skills in an internal or external customer billing service, implementing this environment. They will posses extensive product knowledge of websphere. Additionally you will be capable in planning, installing and configuring the product, implement applications, setting up distributed queuing, enabling appropriate security, administering and operate a queue manager network, enforcing organizational and operational standards, performing basic problem determination and implementing clustering and publish/subscribe topologies.
Technical Requirements:
- AIX & Linux skills (incl. Shell scripting)
- Websphere Application Server ND (v6.1,v7.0,v8.5)
- Application deploymen
- IBM HTTP server or Apache HTTP server & WAS plugin
- SSL
- networks (TCP/IP, routing)
- clustering & load balancing
- Jython
- ITIL Certification
- English Speaking (Dutch Extra)
Experience Required:
. Min 5 years working as a senior WAS engineer within a project environment
. Experience of above within a project environment using ITIL and Prince concepts.
