Management Accountant
Contract - 3 months
Duration - Guildford
The client, a world leading IT consultancy focused in the Security and Information Intelligence markets around the globe. We develop powerful data analysis, data storage, and data visualisation applications that are used by our customers to both deliver business value and fight crime. We are looking for talented individuals with a passion for writing software and tackling difficult problems to join us in our product development division.
We have an urgent requirement for Management Accountant to support the Cyber Security business with both the ESG handover. the role will be based in Guildford for a duration of 3 months.
Activities
Review forecast for the remainder of the year in light of in month actuals, and re-forecast accordingly in line with Cost Centre Owner expectations.
Reconciling the Assets in the Course of Construction account
Reviewing and processing accruals
Reviewing and processing accounting adjustments
Provide ad hoc information to Cost Centre Owners eg spend to date, account analysis.
Improving reporting processes within the Cost Centre, including designing reports as necessary
Key Activities: Review all line items in the P&L; investigate all variances therefore ensuring the correct month end position, and provide accurate variance commentary.
Skills
* University Degree
. CIMA/ACCA qualification or Part Qualified
* Advanced Excel skills
* Ability to deal with multiple projects and prioritise accordingly
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* SAP
