Description

As a researcher you will work as part of a computer vision object recognition and tracking research Team. The team will be responsible for coming up with innovative techniques and prototyping research ideas. As a research assistant you need to be self-motivated, however you will have guidance from our research and technology team, and other parts of the company.
You will often be working on multiple prototype projects at the same time. These projects may be in different phases, so on any given day each employee may spend time brainstorming innovative ideas, designing/developing prototypes, and sharing ideas with the team.

QUALIFICATIONS

Requirement:
*Masters in Computer Vision/Software Engineering
*2:1 minimum

RESPONSIBILITIES

Main Activities
*Must be able to look at the pro's/con's and determine the correct course of action to achieve accuracy and robustness at algorithmic level
*Working on multiple projects
*Brain mapping ideas
*Prototyping researched techniques
*Developing algorithms
*Testing algorithms
*Report/ Research paper writing

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Required Skills:
*Strong at Machine vision algorithms
*Strong image/video processing background
*Statistical processing background (Detection/Analysis/Estimation Areas)
*Mathematical skills
*C, C++ and C# Programming skills
*OpenCV and EmguCV libraries
*Matlab Programming skills
*Work well as part of a team
*Work on your own initiative
*Passionate about machine vision and its applications
*Adaptability (able to pick up new skillsets quickly and be flexible with multiple platforms)
*Document and report the research work from time to time
