A role has arisen within an asset management company in London. This is is a 6 month front office support role.The Support Analyst will join an existing IT Investment Support team, who are responsible for the production support of the Investment Teams. This user facing role will encompass on the ground first and second line support for our global bespoke and packaged front office investment systems for the Fixed Income, Equity, LDI and Multi Asset investment teams.
Overview of role
- Provide support for internal bespoke and third party applications (primarily on the portfolio valuation, risk, trade lifecycle and performance areas)
- Monitor data processes, analyse and resolve production data issues
- Analyse and resolve production system application issues
- Assist with configuration and testing of core Investment applications
- Raise and maintain tickets for all Support calls using Remedy
- Track and prioritise support issues that come into the inbox
- Follow IT Support standards for documentation & system access
- Populate and Maintain the Support issues list which is used for monthly reporting purposes
- Identify support efficiencies, and provide supporting technical and process documentation
- Maintain source controlled documentation such as SQL, Spreadsheets using TFS
- Maintain Wiki pages for all Investment Applications under our support agreement
The client is looking for an individual who will be able to hit the ground running, comes from a asset managerment background and is very technically good with SQL and WIndows.
