Description

  • To provide balanced, substantiated and relevant information about all Bayer
  • Healthcare Pharmaceuticals (BHP) products on request to medical and pharmaceutical professionals, external bodies and members of the public.
  • This must be done in accordance with all relevant legislation and guidelines including EU directives, UK Medicines Law, the ABPI Code of Practice, MHRA guidelines for the advertising and promotion of medicines in the UK and other agencies such as the Advertising Standards Authority and company standard operating procedures(SOPs).
  • To support marketing, sales and medical development activities by the provision of medical, ABPI and technical advice and guidance in accordance with business strategy and corporate compliance.
  • To maintain up-to-date awareness and knowledge of products/therapy areas and ensure relevant information is passed to colleagues.
  • To maintain up-to-date awareness and knowledge of ABPI code of practice.
  • To carry out company processes for unsuccessful Mirena insertions (UMI) and product
  • Technical complaints.
  • To provide logistical support to BHP Business Units by the distribution of non-promotional materials.


Technical Skill Requirements
  • High level of Proficiency in both written and spoken English
  • Medical Writing experience advantageous.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and relay technical information.
  • Proficiency with computer and software applications (i.e., Microsoft office).


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a science/health-related field (Pharmacy Degree Preferred).
  • Some Pharmacy/Hospital experience preferred
  • Medical Information/Pharmaceutical experience preferred
  • ABPI training - Up to date with new legislations
