This field based role will primarily be responsible for delivering bespoke, customer defined training to both My Clients Technical Staff and Customers.

Reporting to the Training and Development Manager they will be responsible for instructing delegates in the safe use, maintenance and repair of my clients products and will be required to deliver training at the company's training centre in Warwick as well as my clients Service Centres and customer's sites throughout the UK.

The key areas of the role will include the following:
  • Deliver technical training on the company's current and new products to staff.
  • Deliver technical product training to customers.
  • Design new innovative training programmes to aid in the practical delivery of courses.
  • Update and review current training courses to reflect any changes in product design and construction.
  • Provide accurate training documentation to allow for training evaluation.


Ideal candidates should have a sound working knowledge of the electronic and hydraulic functions found on municipal refuse vehicles or a commercial HGV and a track record of maintaining chassis, bodies and bin lift.

They should have formal qualifications in mechanical engineering disciplines or be qualified by experience with a valid driving licence, as they will be required to travel and work away from home as the job dictates.

Training mentoring or coaching experience would be a clear advantage, along with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), however the successful candidate will be offered training to ensure they develop the skills required to become a professional trainer.

This role requires a proactive self-motivated individual who is a proven team player with excellent communication skills.
