Software QA Engineer (work from home)

Description

The ideal candidate will have both QA and Microsoft Exchange/AD experience but serious consideration will also be given to candidates who have very strong MS Exchange/AD experience in a Network Engineer/MS Exchange Engineer or similar role and has interest in leveraging that experience in a Software QA role.

This QA position will be focused on all areas of software testing for Binary Tree's MS Exchange and Active Directory Migration Solutions.

You will be responsible for all facets of the manual QA process across multiple software solutions with the end goal of releasing high quality software.

Develop/execute test complex cases and carry out the actual product testing

Diagnose and document problems that are discovered and document the completion of testing projects.

Interpret functional requirements/specifications.

Perform impact analysis of software changes

Document process or procedures within QA department.

Manage a test lab environment and install and configure Exchange features and functions independently

Work remotely in a productive manner independently with little-to-no management oversight (US locations only)

Experienes and qualifications:

Prior experience and specialized or technical knowledge (a must):

Must have very strong, recent experience with MS Exchange and Active Directory.

Extensive experience with Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory (AD) configuration and administration, including:

Deployment and troubleshooting of MS Exchange 2003, 2007, 2010 & 2013, including Outlook client configuration.

Experience with Exchange upgrades. Understanding of 2013

Knowledge of Exchange mail routing, Auto-discover concepts and Availability Services

Knowledge of AD schema and objects

Knowledge of PowerShell

Familiarity with DNS, Networking and security.

Experience and/or a sincere interest in software QA testing.
