Control Systems Engineer- New Orleans, LA 70130One of our key accounts is looking to hire at least one Control Systems engineer on a Long Term Contract basis. This position will be based out of New Orleans, LA and is set up to offer a steady and reliable employment opportunity through a contract medium.
The ideal candidate for this role will have 5+ years of experience with control systems, including specific experience in some of the following:
- Sizing, selecting and specifying control systems, equipment, and instruments
- Developing control strategies and writing control narratives
- Developing Cause and Effect Diagrams and/or SAFE Charts
- Control Panel Design (electronic, pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems)
- Safety System Design, including IPF analysis
- Alarm Management
- Fire and Gas System Design
- Experience with Telecommunication Systems
- Assisting equipment package engineers to develop control systems requirements for RFQ packages
- Creating deliverables for construction packages (Instrument Summaries, I/O lists, installation details, wiring diagrams, schematics, loop drawings, etc.)
