Description
Role: Design completion programs for gas and oil wells in a specific region. Manage operations to ensure that the programs are executed effectively and efficiently.Duties:
- Experience with Oil and Gas Completion and Workover practices, including stimulation and fracturing multi-stage horizontal fracture completions techniques is required. Preference given for experience in fracturing tight formations in horizontal wells.
- Prepare completion programs and designs as required.
- Ensure vendors and contractors are in full compliance with regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for keeping the Operations Manager informed of progress of completion activities.
- Provides technical support of daily operations and is the primary contact for field engineering issues.
- Ability to coordinate and support multiple service providers in a fast paced environment.
- Monitor daily reports and facilitate data error corrections if applicable.
- Review and process invoices for accuracy in timely manner, monitor cost associated with well.
- Responsible for designing and installing artificial lift systems.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Completions
Education: B.S. Engineering; preferably Petroleum Engineering
