For our client in the Telecom industry we are currently looking for a business analyst.

Start: ASAP

Duration: 6 months

Location: Between Brussels & Antwerp

Language: English (Dutch is an asset)

In the OSS department they are looking for an OSS business analyst. The client is currently analysing if they can implement a new Workforce Management System (WFM). This system will be used to plan the daily activities of all the engineers who visit customers. To do so in an efficient manner, they need a planning which is also geographically well organized. Besides analysing requirements, you will take a look at different WFM solutions and concepts. You will design a solution and document this. You'll also estimate the time, effort and money it will take to implement your solution. Besides the previous steps, you'll also review the different designs vendors offer.

Tasks:

  • Answer (key)users questions about the functionality of the application;
  • Offer information to users;
  • Translate business requirements, functional and non-functional requirements;
  • Analyse problems and help solve incidents;
  • Secure the quality and development of the solutions to reduce costs and improve user experience;
  • Estimate costs of change requests and projects;
  • Check the quality of the System Integration Testing and support the execution of Acceptance testing.
  • Execute feasibility studies;
  • Criticise the delivery partner's solution and the functional requirements.

  • OSS Fulfilment Processes (WFM plus a good knowledge of GIS concepts and address management);
  • OSS inventory;
  • Number Management/Number Porting;
  • Technical Order fulfilment;
  • Technical Order management;
