HealthSpot is seeking a multi-faceted Graphic Designer/Web Manager for contract work for no less than 60 days.  We are looking for someone who is passionate about design and technology, and comfortable wearing many creative hats to assist in the design and development of marketing collateral, PPTs, email campaigns and communications, web properties and products and other multimedia deliverables.  As a member of the internal marketing team your creative opportunities are boundless… be it refining and crafting new visual or technical approaches for reaching our audiences online, assisting in the accurate implementation of brand guidelines for marketing and product deliverables, or crafting collateral and presentations to pitch to and communicate with our partners and clients. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
 
Design

  • Provide creative and compelling design solutions across a wide range of corporate channels including web, print, mobile and other media
  • Apply brand style guide elements ensuring consistency across communications
  • Be a champion of the brand to external and internal audiences
  • Collaborate in both defining and suggesting refinements or addenda to the brand style guide as needed
  • Provide design authority and guidance to internal teams when defining projects and objectives and thought-leadership on the web and design best practices and trends
  • Ability to step into the shoes of various HealthSpot audiences with a particular emphasis on providing an empathetic, user-centric perspective and advocating for end user needs
  • Operate effectively both as a member of the marketing team and independently for quick turnaround of projects and deliverables
  • Capable of multitasking, prioritizing, managing time efficiently
Web Management
  • Create reports and dashboards to monitor key metrics, and provide regular analysis to marketing and executive team.
  • Work closely with cross-functional team members in product development, marketing, and manage 3rd party consultants as needed.
  • Assist with website content, layout, UI, and usability from a web marketing perspective.
  • Improve all key website metrics including weekly unique visitors, visitor conversion rates, bounce rates, and more.
  • Make data-driven recommendations on website content, design, and functionality in order to improve key metrics.
  • Develop an SEO plan and drive implementation of the plan.
  • Maintain site content using CMS tools and basic HTML/CSS
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize website design, technical performance and content strategy in order to increase traffic and improve organic search rankings.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • 5+ years of web & graphic design experience
  • Highly proficient in coding standards-based HTML, CSS and JS
  • Demonstrated proficiency with managing and developing for Wordpress (knowledge of other CMS is a plus)
  • Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Proven track record of defining and implementing successful web marketing programs
  • Highly capable of establishing, monitoring, and reporting standard web marketing metrics
  • Demonstrated proficiency in creating reports and dashboards in Google Analytics to monitor traffic, traffic sources, events, visitor paths and more
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and execute tasks with tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrate creative, technical and analytical skills
  • Must communicate effectively in marketing, technical and business environments
  • Ability to understand and adhere to corporate brand guidelines
  • Attention to detail, maintaining high quality and consistent work practices
