Description
Under direction, the Senior Clinical Systems Application Analyst, Stork Application, actively contributes to an innovative team dedicated to establishing a new foundation for advancing clinical delivery and quality outcomes. Incumbent is an expert in the respective field, with an in-depth knowledge of the Epic EMR software, as well as medical center operations and workflow,. Works closely with the project team's clinical leaders to translate business needs into EMR functionality.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience and proven success in information systems implementation, development and support within a large-scale healthcare organization.
- Clinical background and experience that promotes a high level of credibility with clinical professionals; clinical background in an inpatient setting.
- Proven success working with senior clinical and administrative leadership to develop and refine strategies for advancing clinical computing capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience and proven expertise in problem-solving techniques.
- Ability to effectively utilize system tools to meet functionality needs of users.
- Ability to plan and organize day-to-day activities along with short and long-term projects; in-depth knowledge of organizational and project planning processes and ability to produce and maintain high quality planning documents.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Dedicated team player with strong interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- RN degree preferred.
- Epic-Certified in EpicCare-Stork preferred.
- Epic-Certified in EpicCare Ambulatory EMR and/or EpicCare Inpatient EMR; Epic-Certified Epic OpTime preferred.
- Demonstrated experience as a major participant in a clinical system implementation preferred.
