Higher Education - 6 Months Interim - London

My client, a highly regarded top twenty University is looking for an experienced SITS Developer to be a key figure apart of a transformation project.

You will be working very closely with the SITS Project Manager and you must have previous experience of the Tribal SITS (Strategic Information Technology Services) stu dent and course management solution. The role is urgently required to upgrade the Universities software package from version 8.6.0 in a double upgrade through v8.6.1 to v8.7.0.

This evolves an innovative improvement start up project. The project is built around the development and maintenance of actionable stu dent and teaching strategies over a 3 year roadmap. It is imperative that you can understand the requirements of the stakeholders and communicate and recommend the necessary system specifications.

The ideal candidate must have experience with the following:
  • Proven track record with 2 years + SITS system development; specific to the higher education sector.
  • Extensive hands on development experience of using stu dent administration systems (SITS) and of SITS systems development with a particular focus on E-vision.
  • Have extensive experience implementing complex IT projects in a University or College is essential
  • Knowledge of the project lifecycle stages, tasks and tools.
  • Technical knowledge with rational databases (i.e. Oracle & SQL)
  • Excellent both verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ideal preference with working on Admissions, Tasking, Process Manager and Vistas previously.
