Our client is recruiting for a Senior Domain Business Data Architect to drive, develop and document specific domains for the group business information model. The Business Data Architecture (BDA) defines the business standards of data in the future state. The data architecture describes the meaning, purpose, use, owners, producers, consumers, golden sources and trusted integrated copies of data. The ideal candidate will have experience working on regulatory projects, specifically KYC, CDD and AML.

Whilst ideally all applicants will have Financial Markets experience (Investment Banking, Corporate Banking or International Banking), our client in this instance is open to candidates from a Retail Banking background, providing they meet all the above criterion along with the following:

  • Extensive experience working in development of business analysis and business data requirements across different sectors of Financial Services industry;
  • Experience working on a regulatory project (KYC, CDD, AML);
  • Extensive experience of working in development of business data and information models;
  • Strong project management delivery record;
  • Experience working and integrating business data models with business capabilities and IT capabilities;
  • Experience in both top down and bottom up data analysis;
  • Solid understanding and experience of integrating business data architectures with IT data architecture;
  • Knowledge of business and data architecture frameworks;
  • Knowledge of physical data analysis and profiling;
  • Ability to develop cohesive working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Ability to bring analytical rigour and structure and effective solutions to poorly-defined      problems
  • Strong communication skills - applicable through multiple channels (written, spoken, workshops, presentations) with all level of stakeholders
  • Typical qualifications would include a Bachelor's degree/equivalent experience and the role      holder will have professional qualifications in Project/Programme Management eg Project Management Professional (PMP).
  • Experience working with senior stakeholders in a global environment is desirable
  • Navigating - understanding and translating programme objectives and aligning directions      accordingly
