User Experience Designer - Interaction Design, - Visual Design - UCD - Omnigraffle - UXD
Our well known broadcast client requires a UX Designer to join their team in London on a contract basis.
The role will involve working with the with technical, editorial and product teams from across the organisation to lead the development of the visual and interaction elements of the user experience and refine towards a polished design, ensuring that typography, iconography, layout and brand identity are taken into consideration.
Key Responsibilities
- Work in and influence project teams with developers and editorial staff, giving detailed design rationale to get buy in on conceptual ideas from product managers and editorial stakeholders.
- Lead UX&D team members in projects that deliver coherent user experiences across multiple screens.
- Lead guerrilla testing and help organise formal user research to ensure our audiences are integral to the design process.
The successful candidate will:
- Have significant professional experience leading and providing User Experience Design
- interaction design and visual design skills - layout, typography and colour using Omnifaffle
- Have a track record of outstanding work across various different screens, be they mobile, connected TV, tablet or desktop
- Sound understanding of User Cantered Design
- Experience of understanding transactional websites and user navigation a must
