Digital Product Manager position, in the Systems team in Marketing, Digital and Communications (MDC) sector.

You will be reporting to the Systems Development Consultant, and working closely with another Digital Products and Systems Manager, to draw on best practices to manage P&Ps digital products and systems in line with strategic business needs.

This role will contribute to the implementation and evaluation of existing SQL services provided by the team. This will require building good relationships with corporate technology teams, clients and customers both in the UK and overseas, communication and project management skills. The successful applicant will have excellent SQL skills.

Purpose of job:

  • To actively ensure that BC P&P has access to the right technological framework, Digital Products and Systems and services it needs to be an exceptional programme/project management business
  • To ensure that the Digital Products & Systems function effectively uses information technology to increase the impact of BC P&P's programmes and projects

Accountabilities, responsibilities and main duties:

  • To contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of existing and new systems and digital product management strategies which contribute to BC P&P's business objectives
  • To actively contribute to cross-functional working parties which support strategic goals outside the immediate job role
  • To support the management of relationships with GBS (including Business Solutions and Information & Technology Services), BC Digital, and other corporate teams, ensuring BC P&P complies with internal requirements and its objectives are understood
  • To proactively contribute to team planning, monitoring and review activities, supporting all team members to achieve team goals and contributing to a productive team culture
  • To identify and champion areas for improvement/change within the function
  • To proactively seek to understand the interdependencies and connections the function has with other functions and teams, identifying and responding to the needs of all customers

Objectives: Liaise with client, partner, internal stakeholders and corporate IT teams to schedule and manage system upgrades; Develop ad-hoc and regular reports; Carry-out data imports from flat files.
