Description
My client, a global financial services company, has a Release Manager opportunity available in Chicago area. Candidates will get exposure to new projects, various areas of management, and growing teams within the finance space. Responsibilities for this role include: overseeing development, testing, support, and deployment of company systems, as well as improving process efficiency.This is a 6-12 month contract to hire role, years of experience is flexible. Rate varies with experience.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's Degree - technical degree preferred
- Experience with release management and agile development
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to solve problems in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of the software development lifecycle
- Understanding of Unix/Linux and Korn Shell Scripting is a plus
