Role: Senior Information Security Consultant (SIEM)Rate: €400 Daily Rate
Location: South
Type: 3 month contract
I am looking for a Senior SIEM Consultant to work on and assist/lead the SIEM Architecture and design of major projects for a commercial customer based in South Dublin.
Day-to-day:
- Analysing customer business processes and technical environments
- Promote the use of best practice to drive commercial advantage through the management of information security risks in an efficient and effective manner
- Contribute to the development of information security strategies, roadmaps, business cases and remediation plans;
- Contribute towards the preparation of information security policies, standards, processes and guidelines
- Conduct information security risk assessments and control selection activities
- Contribute to the definition and development of security control designs including those required to support external regulations, applicable laws and regulations, such as PCI DSS, DPA, SOX and ISO27001
- Contribute to the designs and delivery of information security awareness training and educational activities
- Support the design, implementation, operation and maintenance of the Information Security Management Systems based on the ISO/IEC 27000 series standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or equivalent degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or related area of study
- Min of 5 years of Information Security consulting experience
- Expert knowledge of SIEM (Arcsight, etc.) installation, configuration, troubleshooting and design.
- Expert knowledge in other security practices or products such as Governance, Risk and Compliance, Threat and Vulnerability Management and Infrastructure Security (e.g. PCI, ISO27001, penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, firewalls, IPS/IDS, endpoint security)
