Spotfire Reporting Developer
Skills: Tibco Spotfire professional with experience installing, configuring and administering reporting and analytics with applications Web Services.
Summary:
The Analytics Report Developer is a key part of the product management team and will be responsible for the complete life cycle and management of reports and dashboards.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with customers to understand reporting and analysis needs, document requirements, design and implement report and analysis deliverables
- Work with product management, development and database infrastructure teams establish, design, implement reports and dashboards as part of managed analytics engagements
- Architect, design and develop executive and management dashboards and end-user reports using Tibco Spotfire, and support existing reporting & analytics reports, dashboards and infrastructure
- Work closely with product management, development, data warehouse and ETL teams on designing flexible and scalable data models across all enterprise data assets
- Develop and maintain the reporting solutions for the release and deployment between enterprise environments
- Develop, advise QA and DevOperations with production migrations of reporting & analytics objects
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in requirements gathering, data modelling, reporting & Analytics architect, report, dashboards development
- Strong preference given to Tibco Spotfire certified professionals
- Experience installing, configuring, and administering reporting & analytics report and application Web Servers
- Familiarity with industry leading data mining and Business Intelligence tools (Spotfire preferred)
- Familiarity with Agile practices (preferred)
- Strong SQL writing skills and understanding of relational and dimensional data models, and industry accepted design techniques
- Familiarity with data modelling and manipulation tools in Postgres environment
- Related experience in the Healthcare, Financial, Insurance Enterprise Contact Center, Back Office industry (preferred)
- Ability to technically lead and own multiple projects to meet deliverable timelines and SLAs
- Ability to effectively explain complex issues and concepts in simple, understandable language to technical and business audiences
- Excellent technical architecture and technical support documentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Work closely with business users and other development teams in all stages of the BI development life cycle
- Lead performance tuning and stress testing initiatives
- Participate and contribute to reporting and analytics product roadmap and technology strategy
- Keep up to date on latest BI directions/trends; identify technologies and methodologies that can add further value
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or similar discipline and minimum 5 years of related work experience
