Consultant File Server/Active Directory Specialist
On behalf of one of our customers, a world leader in their industry sector based in France, we are currently looking for an experienced File Server/Active Directory Specialist.
The role will focus on supporting new projects deployments, including:
- Migrate File Server Data from the company Data Centers to HP Data Centers
- Structure based on Active Directory Access Rights actual File Server/Share access Rights
- Establish Process & Procedure for Regular access review
- Publish Resources on DFS (Distributed File Systems)
- Coordinate with Site & Business involved Cutover Period
Essential Skills
- Windows 7 and Windows 2008 R2 platforms
- Active Directory
- Windows DFS (Distributed File System)
- Windows based File Share/Server
- End user migration strategy
- Experience with working within on a large scale program
- Rigor in following the planned project steps
- Understanding of customer requirements to develop implementation strategies
- Logical approach to problem solving and resolution
As a services provider this role is customer facing; excellent communication skills and ability to interact with customers is imperative.
Flexibility in the role is essential as project deadlines occasionally requires out of schedule commitments.
Ability to work in a multi-cultural, international environment.
The role will involve working on a migration program.
In cooperation with external suppliers, the migration program will move the existing infrastructure to a private cloud infrastructure.
Please note that this is an English speaking project only. Any other European languages would be an added bonus (especially French)
This assignment can start as early as next Monday (June 9th), with a few weeks flexibility for the right candidate. Telephone interviews can be arranged next week.
Initial contract until the end of Ocotber 2014.
