An innovative Pharmaceutical company based in Kent is currently looking for an experienced Materials Manager to join the Supply Chain team on site, in line with a continued period of growth.The responsibilities of the Materials Manager are as follows:
* Supply oversight to the troubleshooting and resolution of product supply and technical problems occurring within the supply chain.
* Responsible for MPS and MRP for a new company product and establishment of planning processes including the compilation of documentation.
* Creating statistical reports and analysing data. (KPIs, OTIF, production, release)
* Assisting where necessary existing members of staff with projects including a warehousing improvement/ERP systems implementation.
To fulfil these requirements for the Materials Manager you must have the following skills/experience:
* Previous experience working as part of a Supply Chain department within the Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical industry, with knowledge of FDA and cGMP requirements.
* Understanding of the International requirements for the management of Controlled Drugs and a strong ability to collate/write reports.
* Previous experience of forecast modelling, demand planning and materials/inventory management.
* Educated to degree level/equivalent experience.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
