We are DJs, farmers, artists and outdoor enthusiasts who happen to love building cool apps. We are a fully agile and remote shop. Our developers are around the world but are in constant communication through IM and video chats. Despite our great physical distance, we work closely together. While we all have our specialities, we enjoy pitching in where needed.

Languages
With users spread around the world, English is the language we work in. You should be comfortable clearly communicating with written and spoken English.

Location
Our team is located around the world and we will consider applicants in any locale. We are located in Vancouver, BC and would love to have company in our office.

Skills & Requirements

About You
A savvy, committed developer that is aware of PHP’s blessings and shortcomings. You communicate well with our team, are helpful and easy going. You should have the following experience.

Experience

Exceptional developer and systems analyst/designer in complex, high performance, scalable web applications with substantial traffic load

4+ years PHP and WordPress experience and 6+ years working experience

In-depth knowledge of HTTP and other web related protocols

Exceptional experience with writing SQL queries, optimizing for various flavors of MySQL, etc. as well as designing databases for specific application needs

Understanding of web application/PHP security issues (unauthorised execution, SQL injection, CSRF/XSRF, etc.)

Ability to debug, profile and optimize PHP code

Experience building public facing PHP REST APIs
