Network Engineer - Leuven - CCNP, CCNA
Our client is urgently looking for an experienced Network Engineer for a big and challenging project at a worldwide leading IT firm. The Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of the data network and Telecommunications infrastructure.
As a Network Engineer you have the following responsibilities:
- Help with short and long- term planning of the network architecture
- Design new network, manages upgrades under maintenance and emergency incidents
- Follows, implements and maintains disaster recovery and plan the network according to existing processes and procedures
- Proactively think about improvements in the network infrastructure
As a Network Engineer you will meet the following requirements:
- At least 5 years of relevant professional experience
- Have experience with networking technologies such as LAN, WAN, VOIP, GPRS and VPN
- Advanced knowledge of network devices such as Firewalls, load balancers, Routers, Switches and be able to install it, configure and maintain.
- Experience in a network environment with Microsoft Windows Server
- Certification as a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and/or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Excellent Dutch and English language skills
