For our international end client we are looking for a software engineer medior
Start: ASAP
Location: Venlo, Netherlands
Period: 3 months with an option to extend
Products intent to use a so-called Service Control Station (SCS), as central computer in a complex production printer on which all service tasks can be performed. This SCS consists of dedicated hardware and software for a specific project. The installers must be designed/optimized/tested and Windows imaging of the SCS must be arranged. The installation steps of an SCS imaging hardware and software must be made reproducible.
Position`s main tasks:
- creation of installation images for Service Control Station hardware and software and NSIS installers for various service applications
- creating product documentation to allow the product line to configure SCS computers
- creation of installation images for tablet hardware and software and NSIS installers for various service applications
- integral testing of this solution.
Need to have:
Level: medior
Education: computer science
Technical competences:
- Windows knowledge, specifically how to create installers, full installation procedures
- Good documentation skills in English for writing transfer documentation
- Good knowledge on networking
- Fluent in Scripting languages for installation automation
Behavioral competences:
autonomous drive, self supportive, ability to adapt
Nice to have:
- Affinity with Windows Embedded Standard
- Affinity with Microsoft.NET
