£100 per day
My client, a leading telecommunications company in the UK, is looking to place a Finance Assistant for a 2 month contract at their site in Oxford.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the Missing Trader Intra-Community ( MTIC) background checks and compiling reports on all qualifying IT services suppliers and customers.
You will be required to develop and build relationships with the IT services financial controller, accounts payable and receivable transaction teams and the relevant group staff (VAT,TAX, Central Finance).
You will also be expected to train an existing IT services employee to the required level and therefore should have a strong background in this field.
Your responsibilities will be:
Roll-out the MTIC governance framework across business
Assist in training MTIC processes where required
Data gathering for Know Your Customer (KYC) and Know Your Supplier (KYS) Complete backlog of KYC/KYS across the IT Services business
Completion of evidence documents for the above
Organised filing & storage of above
Making recommendations to Financial Controller regarding customer/supplier status and any areas of concern
Monthly data review to ensure all counter-parties go through the process if they hit thresholds
Liaison with other functions with regards to any developments/changes and awareness when counter-parties fail the process
Knowledge and windows and Microsoft office along with exposure to an accounts environment is essential.
