Finance Consultant - Education
The Role
Reporting to the Finance and Treasury Business Partner, the Finance Consultant will be responsible for being the first point of advice for any nonstandard queries across ES and support Account Co-ordinators and Account Managers including BC Treasury a, with financial decision-making at the operational level.

- Demonstrable understanding of financial planning, monitoring and reporting process and practice for EC contracts.
- Highly developed interpersonal, communication and influencing skills (including with senior managers)
- Coaching approach to management with an emphasis on staff development
- Identification and delivery of performance improvements
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in planning, managing and reporting on EC contracts including: embedding recommendations from audits; identifying and embedding performance improvements; fulfilling BC reporting requirements
- Track record of change leadership impacting beyond immediate team level.
- Team leadership in a global Matrix environment.
- Newly Qualified CCA
- ACA/ACMA/ACCA
- Evidence of continued professional development and professional networking.
- Programme/project management qualification aligned to ES professional standards at the appropriate level for the role (Post holder to achieve an agreed qualification within 12 months of starting in post).
