We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join global media organisation.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant (preferably from industry or a large accountancy firm) with a commercial background in finance.

Business/Commercial Support
* Assessment of value-based pricing and profitability of commercial deals
* Implement appropriate commission structures for the sales teams
* Manage all aspects of financial controls and governance including third party contracts, commissions payments, budgets and spend approvals
* Finance chair for month end results meetings
* Lead the annual budget and re-forecasting process ensuring full engagement from commercial teams in producing robust, bottom up activity based budgets
* Input into the overall business strategy/five year planning process
* Other ad-hoc project work driven by the commercial activities of the business.

Reporting
* Ensure all Group deadlines are met without exception to include monthly P&L results, budgets and re forecasts
* Maintain close working relationships to ensure accurate and timely reporting of month end
* Ensure timely circulation of the month end results to key business stakeholders, highlighting key risks/opportunities for the balance of the year

This role requires the successful candidate to:
* Be CIMA/ACA qualified (or equivalent) from industry or a top tier accountancy firm with a strong academic record and excellent excel skills;

* Be a high performing individual, delivering quickly and accurately and able to prioritise to ensure deadlines are met whilst maintaining a high standard of analysis and insight;

* Demonstrate a creative, analytical, practical and thorough approach to resolving issues;

* Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to summarise information and finance issues for presentation to senior management (both finance and non-finance)

* Utilise excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to build strong working relationships within team and other areas
