Our client, active in banking industry, is currently looking for a freelance Senior Functional Analyst who can help the client with the functional analysis of an electronic banking project, which will take at least 1 year.
As freelance functional analyst you will be responsible for analysing the business requirements delivered by Business Analysts. You will translate the requirements into functional specifications towards the systems and other deliverables required, to enable solution construction. The Functional Analyst creates and modifies business facing documentation including user manuals and solution briefs. Therefore, you will complete and elaborate functional software design in accordance with solutions designed by the solution architect and documentation of the same. Furthermore, the Functional Analyst will define, execute and support test scenarios and test cases. You will support testing on behalf of the users, operations and testing teams, potentially including test plans, test cases, test-data and review of interface testing. On top of that, the contractor will work with application developers to resolve functional issues from UATs and to help find solutions for various functional difficulty areas. Finally, the freelancer will be troubleshooting to resolve reported bugs/issues on applications.
The freelancer we are looking for has extensive experience as Functional Analyst within retail banking. More specifically, extensive experience with electronic banking is an added value. To be considered for this position, you need to have a strong background in Mainframe Cobol. The client is looking for an excellent team player with strong communication and analytical skills. Finally, for this project you will be required to communicate fluently in Dutch and French.
