We have an exciting new opportunity working with a world leading Telecommunication company. Our client is looking for an IP Design Engineer with a successful and extensive Telecoms background.
IP Design Engineer - Telecoms - Responsibilities:
- Working within a managed services organisation delivering design services into major mobile telecoms operators.

Responsible for analysing, designing and developing end to end technical solutions for customers based on their technical requirements and business needs.

Understand customer requirements and implement solutions, communicating consequences on costs and timescales.

Delivering cost-effective, elegant designs into operations.

Acting as design technical lead on customer projects, you will be responsible for coordinating closely with the Project Manager and leading all aspects of the technical delivery on the project.

You will be directly involved in delivering the production and validation of High Level and Low Level network designs, test, trial & FOA, and supporting the implementation of solutions.
IP Design Engineer - Telecoms - Experience:
-
Extensive IP & Security Design experience.
-
In depth knowledge and experience of IP/MPLS transport technologies as used in Carrier Ethernet grade networks or mobile operators.
- Firewalls, Policy-based-security and Wider security tools.
- IPSec VPN implementation in a multi-vendor environment using both Router and Firewall devices.
- Experience of designing telecom grade IP network with a core MPLS backbone.

MP-BGP, RIPv2, MPLS, network management platforms, SNMP, load balancing.
- Experience in IP Addressing on a multiple site/size basis.
- Experience of multiple vendor equipment: Cisco, Juniper, Redback, Huawei, Radware, Nokia, etc.
- Experience working with Huawei CX600/PTN/ATN products.
- CCIE Written & Lab.
