NFC System Test Engineer with experience in C/C++ required for a long term contract based in Greater London. Joining a market leading semiconductor organisation, NFC System Test Engineer will be responsible for the implementation and execution of system tests and certification for NFC connectivity solutions.Role Overview:
The Near Field Communication (NFC) System Test Engineer will design, implement and execute tests on Near Field Communication (NFC) capable devices, working with the development team to identify and correct areas of non-compliance.
Skills/Experience
* Able to demonstrate a good understanding of the operation of typical wireless technology, from the physical layer to the application layer.
* Able to show understanding of Near Field Communication (NFC) systems, and the issues which guide their design.
* Basic knowledge and understanding of a compiled programming language from the C family (C, C++, C#, Java)
* Clear and confident communicator, able to work effectively both inside and outside the organisation.
* Very strong analytical ability, able to relate the behaviour of complex systems with their specifications
* Previous use of C or C++ on projects of moderate size
Desirable Skills:
* Previous use of Python or Perl for scripting.
This is an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend longer term. The role entails some (<10%) travel, mainly within Europe.
