Description

The Role

  • Develop image signal processing algorithms for state of the art camera pipeline including superior Image Quality and advanced image enhancement techniques
  • Develop image signal processing algorithms for the new generation of sensors including new CFA patterns, multi-spectral, Near IR, IR Bolometers, depth , PDAF and sensor fusion algorithms for heterogeneous multisensory platforms
  • Develop image signal processing algorithms for revolutionary new camera architectures like new novel single sensor, OIS, array and lightfield cameras
  • Evaluate image signal processing pipeline performance through simulation or device testing and drive for performance improvement
  • Track cutting-edge color imaging technologies in industry and academia
  • Publish papers and present articles at imaging, computational photography and other relevant academic and industry conferences
  • Provide image signal processing support to product and marketing teams as well as customers

Required skills/experience

  • 7+ years relevant non-academic working experience
  • MS/Ph.D. in image processing, computer vision or related fields
  • In-depth knowledge of image signal processing and experience in camera image processing pipeline design, development and manufacturing
  • Experience with parallel processing architectures is desirable
  • Proven track record (products/publications/patents) in the field
  • Strong math and analytical skills and solid programming skills in compiled languages (C/C++), and MATLAB
  • Excellent communication and technical presentation skills
  • Proactive, responsive strong team player; self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Good understanding of digital photography
  • Product development experience in a semiconductor environment is desirable
