Key Qualifications- In depth knowledge of top down FPGA development process
- Experience with large FPGA designs, including at least one of Xilinx or Altera
- Solid understanding of the tool flow from rtl to bitstream
- Proven design validation skills
- Proven micro architecture development and excellent documentation skills
- Good math and analytical skills
- Substantial experience writing Verilog code.
- Hands on lab bring-up experience, debug, chipscope and instrument usage
- Excellent oral and written English skills
Description:
My client is making the jump from an older, outdated processor to more modern technology. Thus, they need someone who can come in and help in laying out new board with the new microcontroller (contribute to layout and design) and getting the new operating system up and running. They are also in need of someone who is a skilled FPGA programmer.
Education
Min: MSEE/CS with 4 years of experience or BSEE/CS with 5 years of experience in relevant work areas
Additional Requirements
*Mixed signal knowledge is a plus
*Asic experience is a plus
*C, C Coding
*Python, Perl, scripting language
*Low level FW experience
*Digital video experience
