An exciting 12 month contract opportunity for an EU Regulatory Affairs Manager with a highly respected brand.The successful candidate will provide regional regulatory support for the existing cosmetic portfolio and for new cosmetic product initiatives in the EAME region. You will also provide regional strategic regulatory support for new product development in EAME regions and ensure awareness and expert understanding on emerging cosmetic legislations within the EAME environment. You will provide information and guidance on respective business opportunities, risks and options; strategic regulatory support for new product initiative and for existing cosmetic portfolio, from the concept stage up to the commercialization and during product life on the market; regulatory input and strategical support on Franchise plans; and manage and proactively facilitate the regulatory validation of products ideas and all advertising support versus the relevant Directives and according to company policies.
You will have;
- A degree in a relevant scientific discipline with a minimum of 5 years experience in regulatory or product development
- Experience in the cosmetic and/or consumer goods field, including working with the EU Cosmetic Regulation.
- Demonstrated ability to think analytically, prudent risk taking and to appraise technical data for compliance and regulatory submissions
- Excellent communication skills with internal and external influencing skills;
- High ethical standards
