We are seeking one SCCM consultant with desktop administration skills to take on a long term contract with an international IT service provider. This opportunity offers the chance for you to work in two highly sought after European locations: 6 months in Geneva, Switzerland & 6 months + in Valencia, Spain. You will be part of a constantly evolving and multinational team with English as the core language.

Responsibilities:

. Implementation, administration and management of SCCM 2012 and packaging environment
. Installation and configuration of different site systems
. Site configurations across AD forest
. OS deployment (Image creation, driver package, Task sequence, ZTI, LTI, etc.)
. Software distribution (installation, upgrade) based on queries
. Configuration of remote tools for helpdesk
. Define SCCM on-going maintenance tasks
. Delegation of SCCM for 1st and 2nd level
. Software update configuration
. 3rd party update configuration
. Implementing, Administration and management of the Desktop environment
. Windows 7, 8 deployment of desktops
. Windows server 2008, 2012 deployment
. VDI integration with SCCM
. GPOs for desktops, users, IE and Office 2010, 2013
. Folder redirection/roaming profiles/offline files
. Migration from XP to Windows 7, 8
. Application customization, testing, rolling-out
. Configuration of client security MS Forefront or McAfee ePO
. Windows Firewall configuration
. Implementing and supporting creation of standard images using SCCM 2012 for desktops, laptops and VDI environments.
. Troubleshooting any application or connectivity issues.
. Document monitoring and maintenance procedures

Experience Required:

. Extensive knowledge of LAN, WAN and Internet technologies and protocols.
. Extensive skills in installation, configuration and administration of Microsoft Application software such as SCCM 2012, WSUS, Active Directory, MED-V, APP-V, PKI, DNS DHCP.
. Experience in independently handling and working on complex migration projects related to SCCM.
. Strong analytical and problem solving skills a must. Practical experience with interactive systems, advanced understanding of relational databases and applications.
. Good Scripting knowledge will be an added asset.
. Knowledge of Service Level Management Principles.
. The consultant may be requested to provide stand-by' services during weekends, holidays and outside of the normal working hours.
. At least 4+ years of experience in installation, configuration and administration of MS-Windows based environments and SCCM administration.
